Boozel, Clair F. “Tom”, McVeytown, took his final trip, April 10, 2020 after battling Leukemia for 5 months. Born February 4, 1941, Wayne Township, son of the late John R. and Olive O. (Gill) Boozel. Preceded in death by siblings, John, Roy, Helen, Elsie, James, David, Norman, Harold, Margie, Glen and Sylvia; in-laws, David and Nora Renninger. Survived by his loving wife, Pauline (Renninger) Boozel, whom he married on June 4, 1965; sons, Martin W. Boozel and wife Amy; Keith B. Boozel and wife Jamie; 9 grandchildren, Morgan, Victoria, Bailey, Kennidy, Jackson, Garrett, Wyatt, Mathew, and Cullen, all of McVeytown; sister, Laura Aurand, Mount Union; brothers, Steven Boozel and wife Nancy, Mount Union; and Emil “Joe” Boozel, McVeytown; sisters-in-law, Mary, Beverly, Bonnie and Dee; special friends from California, Zack and Sharon Taylor; and many nieces and nephews. Tom attended Mount Union Area Schools and retired from Empire Kosher Poultry in 2006. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing guitar, working outdoors and the woods. Tom regularly attended the Bricktown Senior Center and liked the music there. Tom was most happy when spending time with his family and friends. A private service will be held with a celebration of life to be had at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
