Veteran Military Services

At Anderson Family Funeral Homes & Cremation Services we are the Exclusive Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™ in Cambria, Blair, & Huntingdon Counties. We value the sacrifice our veterans and their families made to preserve our freedom. We honor their service by extending a 10% pre-paid discount to all veterans and their spouses when arrangements are made with us. Great attention to detail is put forth in a veteran's service here at Anderson Funeral Homes and we can assure proper ceremony and respect to our heroes is superior. We will apply for all veteran benefits and ensure those families we serve receive those benefits they have rightfully earned.

At the service, military honors are conducted by local Veterans Organizations consisting of men & women from the local military organizations. The Military Funeral Honors Ceremony consists of a prayer service by the commander and chaplain followed by the folding and presentation of the United States Flag, 3 volleys of the rifles, and playing Taps. Our veterans will forever be remembered in the hearts of all Americans, most of all in the hearts of their families.
