William Gray Hunter

Hunter, William Gray, 75, Orbisonia, formerly of Mount Union and Williamsport, passed away January 11, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born March 4, 1946, Jacksonville, FL, son of the late William and Beatrice (Williams) Hunter. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Phyllis A. (McKinney); sister, Myrtle Kane; and son-in-law, Steve Williams. Survived by his children, William “Butch” Hunter and wife, Chrissy, Wentzville, MO; and Heidi Williams, Mount Union; 6 grandchildren, Benjamin, Victoria, Jonah, Silas Hunter, Cami Hunter and Cloie Williams); 6 great-grandchildren, Teagan, Remington, Zayne, Jacey, Quilla Hunter and Noah Williams; and sister, Ruth Harvey. Bill was a loving husband and father who spent his time providing and caring for his family. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening and caring for his dogs and cats. He also loved creating an amazing Christmas model train display every December.  A memorial service will be celebrated at a later date.
