Stewart, Steven Michael, 61, Mount Union, passed away March 10, 2021 surrounded by his family at UPMC Altoona. Born June 3, 1959, Huntingdon, son of the late Robert S. and Mariea E. (Dimoff) Stewart. Survived by children, Heather M. Stewart, and Derek M. Stewart; siblings, Lisa R. Stewart, Tina M. (Stewart) Runk and husband, William; and Stanley E. Stewart and wife, Bobbi J.; 5 grandchildren, Mackenzie, Gabriel, Jenae, Nishay, and Cypress, and a granddaughter on the way. Steve is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and life-long friend, Dave Moore. He will be remembered for his kind and helpful nature. Steve was a former member of the American Legion Post 107 and VFW 5754. He was an active volunteer with the Mount Union Food Bank. In his younger years he enjoyed playing basketball, billiards, his motorcycle and working on his prized ’69 Chevy Nova. Most of all Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren. Family and friends will be accepted Saturday March 13, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Father Christos Patitsas, officiant. Interment to follow at the Mount Union Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
