Wargo, Shirley M., 83, Windber, died October 28, 2020 at Windber Woods. Born March 14, 1937, Johnstown, daughter of the late Peter and Viola (Jeffers) Bifano. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Bill” Wargo, Sr.; grandson, Todd Garrety; brothers, Tony and Nick Bifano; sisters, Mary Jane Gula, Jeanette Zechman, Betty Brezensky and Delores Burkett. Survived by children, Cynthia, wife of Paul Cekada, Windber; Lori Wargo, Windber; John Wargo, married to Tonya (Kelley), Milton; William Wargo, Jr., married to Jennie (Sager), Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Trent, Brett, Grant and Blake; and great-grandson, Gage Garrety. Shirley enjoyed camping at “The River” and cooking. Most importantly she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Friends and family will be received Thursday, November 5, 2020 from 11:30 a.m. until time of service at 1:00 p.m., Scalp Level Church of the Brethren, 270 Hoffman Ave., Windber, Pastor Mark Murchie, officiating. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Windber Hospice on behalf of Shirley M. Wargo.
