Shirley M. Kauffman-Boonie

Boonie, Shirley M. (Huffman) Kaufman, 78, formerly of Kistler, passed away August 4, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born September 26, 1941, McVeytown, daughter of the late Daley and Lillian (Machamer) Huffman. Preceded in death by husbands, Ronald K. Kuaffman and Eugene F. Boonie; brothers, Charles K. Bollinger, Miles Huffman, Glenn Huffman, William Huffman and Bruce Huffman. Survived by daughter, Caroline C. Williams, Mount Union; 6 siblings, Daley Huffman Jr., McVeytown; Anna Mary Smith, Burnham; Mrs. Ira Ruth Armstrong, Mount Union; Roy D. Huffman, Mifflin; Jean Treaster, McVeytown; Robert L. Huffman, Lewistown. Shirley was employed by Empire Kosher of Mount Union then later worked for Bleyer Industries of Mount Union where she retired in 2009. Shirley loved working in her yard, walking and spending time with family and friends. Friends and family will be received at the funeral home on Saturday, August 8, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m., Pastor Timothy Guyer, officiant. Interment to follow at Mooresville Cemetery, Mooresville, West Twp., Huntingdon, Co.
