Morder, Shakeria Jollene, 42, Mount Union, passed away unexpectedly May 4, 2020. Born April 17, 1978, Huntingdon, daughter of John E. and Pamela (Morder) Mitchell. Preceded in death by her grandparents, Milton and Patricia Turner; Izona Mitchell and James McMicke; uncle, Ronald Beaston. Survived by her parents; children, Symier Fortson, Mount Union; Alena Walker, Alexandra, VA; Kenyion Rivera Fortson, Mount Union; siblings, Eric Fortson and girlfriend Christy Christoff Ranck; Dale Morder and wife Charity; Daniel Morder; John and Jawonne Mitchell; Christie and Ashley Hamman, all of Mount Union; Gordon Hamman and wife Sally, Phoenixville; Jamie Hamman and wife Kelli, Mount Union; aunts and uncles, Steve Morder, Sharon Fortson and husband Nathaniel; Tina Spriggs and companion Harris; Dawn Smith and husband Troy; Dena Gaff; Carl “Bo” Beaston and wife Brandi; Susan Beaston and companion Perry, all of Mount Union; Will and Terry Beaston, N.C.; and an abundance of nieces, nephews and cousins, locally and in Pittsburgh. Shakeria was a 1997 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. She received her degree from Mifflin-Juniata Career & Technology Center in Practical Nursing. Shakeria enjoyed decorating and fishing. Most importantly her children were her world. Our daughter was an amazing person and we will miss her everyday for the rest of our lives. Rest our sweet angel. Due to the recent restrictions placed on funeral homes for conducting visitations and funerals, the family has elected to hold a drive through visitation on Sunday May 10, 2020 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for those wishing to pay their respects to honor Shakeria’s memory. A private interment will follow at Haven Rest Memorial Cemetery, Rev. Sylvia Morris, officiant. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
