McConnell, Patrick A., 73, Cresson, passed away unexpectedly November 6, 2020 at his home. Born July 17, 1947, Cresson, son of the late Ferdinand A. and Hilda M. (Hershel) McConnell. Preceded in death by his brothers, Paul, Gerald and Ronald McConnell. Survived by his loving wife, Linda M. (Perehinec) whom he married on October 19, 1972; daughter, Karolyn A. Smeltzer; siblings, Getrude Trybus and husband Walter; Leonard McConnell and wife Ann; and Robert McConnell and wife Carol. Pat was a member of the Cresson American Legion Post 238, Sankertown VFW Post 7337, and a lifetime member of the St. Pietro Di Roma Italian Mutual Society, Cresson. He enjoyed fishing with his best friend James Leleck and working on vehicles with his friends and brother Lenny. He also loved spending time with his wife and friends at Bowser’s Riverfront Campground in Newton Hamilton. He also enjoyed working on crossword and Sudoku puzzles and target shooting with his daughter. At Pat’s request, there will be no viewing or services.
