Grainey, Patricia “Patty” A., 73, McVeytown, passed away January 2, 2021 at home surrounded by her family. Born December 18, 1947, Harrisburg, daughter of the late William G. Reese and Zana (Giardine) Brennan. Preceded in death by her husband, Donald “Newtie” W. Grainey, Sr.; brother, William “Billy” Reese; and step-father, Michael J. Brennan. Survived by her children, Kelly Grainey, McVeytown; Tricia Dornisch and husband Charles, Phoenixville; Kristine Davis, Madison, AL; Donald W. Grainey, Jr., Morrisville; 5 grandchildren, Rachel Dornisch, Tyler Grainey, Kaitlyn Markawicz, Jessica Davis and Haley Davis; and sister, Sandra Kelly, Newton, MA. Patty was a 1965 graduate of St. Matthew’s High School, Conshohocken. She retired from Pennco Tech in Bristol as an administrative assistant. At Patty’s request, all services will be private. Inurnment Mapleton IOOF Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org/involved/donate in memory of Patty.
