Olene V. Bost

Bost, Olene V. (Sanker), 90, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord April 17, 20201 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 17, 1930, Gallitzin, daughter of the late Leo and Annie (Farran) Sanker. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Patrick Bost; brothers, Leo and Raymond Sanker; step-brother, Bob Lowery; daughter-in-law, Laura Bost; and son-in-law, Tom Pozycki. Survived by her children, Patricia Bost, Cresson; Timothy Bost and wife Carrie, Mertztown; and David Bost, Cresson; three grandchildren, Cody Bost, Elizabethtown; Nickol Keller (Jared), Lebanon; and Vanessa Pozycki (Brian Bowers), Mars; one great-granddaughter, Alexandra Keller; and a niece, Karen Mishock, Cresson. Olene retired as a garment folder from Warnaco in Altoona. She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Church where she sang in the church choir. Olene loved working in her yard and also enjoyed painting, bingo and going to the casino. After she retired, Olene volunteered her time at St. Vincent DePaul and John Paul II Manor in Cresson. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family and taking care of her Yorkie, Drake. At her request, all services will be private, Rev. Leo Arnone, celebrant.
