Nancy Jane Renninger

Nancy Jane (Morgan) Renninger, 73, of Mount Union, passed away at 2:14 a.m Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born June 21, 1947 in Huntingdon, she was the daughter of the late Russell G. and Mary V. (Burdge) Morgan. She married her loving husband of 52 years, Barry W. Renninger on November 14, 1968 in the Calvin United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband at home and her daughter, Amy Reeder and husband, Jimmy of Mapleton Depot and 3 granddaughters, Rachel Steltzer and husband, Jeffrey, Lewistown; Brianna Wible and husband Bryant, Three Springs; Tierney Reeder at home and 2 great-grandchildren, Adalynn, and Kenzley.  Also surviving is a brother, William Morgan and wife, Donna, Huntingdon; and many nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by a brother, Steven E. Morgan. Nancy was a devoted Christian and a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for many years. Barry and Nancy enjoyed and were very involved with the Bricktown Senior Center in Mount Union and made many lifelong friendships at the Center.  She loved shopping especially at Boscovs and playing card games with her family and friends. Most importantly Nancy enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. During her recent illness and hospitalizations, Nancy was cared for by many especially her niece, Lori and a nurse at UPMC, Nate.  She was so appreciative of their loving care. A viewing will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 p.m. with Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiating. Interment to follow at the Mount Union Cemetery. Those planning to attend are kindly asked to wear masks and practice social distancing. Those who wish may also send memorial contributions on behalf of Nancy to the Bricktown Senior Center, 18 N. Washington St. Mount Union, PA 17066. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
