Harshbarger, Mary V., 93, Mount Union, passed away February 5, 2020 at Penn Highlands Hospital, Huntingdon. Born January 10, 1927, Wayne Twp., Mifflin Co., 9th daughter of the late Albert and Mary (Bilger) Boozel, Sr. family of 18 children. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul W.C. Harshbarger whom she married on June 17, 1950 in Mt. Pleasant; brothers, Melvin, Foster, Brooks, John, Bertis, Lester and Albert, Jr.; sisters, Stella, Gladys, Becky, Geraldine and Shirley; and son-in-law, Andrew Dimoff. Survived by her daughters, Doris Dimoff, McVeytown; Sharon Winnick and husband, Tom, Huntingdon; and Tina Todaro and husband, Stephen, Mount Union; three grandchildren that she loved to pieces, Aaron, Michael and Nicole; 6 great-grandchildren that she loved to spoil, Austin, Keira, Ben, Jade, Tama, and Isabella; brothers, Richard and Bob, both of McVeytown; and sisters, Freda, Elise and Thelma, all of Newton Hamilton. Mary was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends and attending family occasions. Mary was an avid picture collector and enjoyed sharing and reminiscing about her photos with family. She enjoyed listening and singing along to music. Mary enjoyed gardening especially flowers, mostly roses. Over her life she worked various jobs, but the most important job to Mary was working for a factory in Erie, where she helped make the gas masks for our soldiers during WWII. She was a founding member of the Boozel Family Reunion, which she attended for over 70 years. Friends and family will be received on Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 5 p.m. for a celebration of life service at the funeral home.
