Scott, Ida Mae, 91, Orbisonia, went to be with the Lord on March 4, 2020 at AristaCare at Woodland Park. Born April 2, 1928, Huntingdon, daughter of the late Raymond and Effie (Semple) Carbaugh. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Glenn A. Scott, whom she married on August 30, 1947; daughter, Beverly Jean Scott; sister, Mardella Fleck; brothers, Harold, Donald and Leroy Carbaugh. Survived by son, Glenn D. Scott and wife Amy, Mount Union; 2 grandchildren, Craig Scott and wife Tammy, Etters; Chad Scott and wife Patricia, Mount Union; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Delores Moore, Manheim. Ida grew up on Ganister Hill and attended Mount Union High School. She belonged to the New Life Fellowship Church and worked at the Mount Union sewing factory. Ida was a lifetime Ladies Auxiliary Member of the VFW Post #5747 and a former Auxiliary Member with the American Legion Post #107. Ida had a fondness for playing BINGO. She loved to wear jewelry, enjoyed holiday events and was happiest when she was surrounded by family and friends. A private memorial and graveside service will be held.
