Croll, Eunice M. (Illig), 94, Cresson, formerly of North Tonawanda, NY, passed away September 5, 2020 at the Presbyterian Village at Hollidaysburg. Born August 18, 1926, Ebensburg, daughter of the late Cyril A. and Cecelia L. (Sharp) Illig. Preceded in death by her grandsons, Daniel J. Croll, Jr. and Kenney Denson; brothers, William, Harold, Glen, Raymond and Richard Illig; and sisters, Leona Stevens and Mazie Pramuk. Survived by her children, Eugene (Mary) Croll; Wayne (Ester) Croll, all of North Tonawanda, NY; Kathleen (William) Denson, Big Flats, NY; Daniel Croll, Cape Coral, FL; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Olive (George) Jacobs, Cresson; and brother, Eugene (Bernice) Illig, Pittsburgh. Eunice was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church and the Legion of Mary. She enjoyed crocheting and playing cards, especially Pinochle. Eunice was a wonderful seamstress and an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. It was her niece, Martina Eckenrode’s honor to be with her and place her in God’s hands as she passed. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing. A memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 19, 2020 at 9:00 a.m., St Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Interment St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
