Carla J. Weaver

Weaver, Carla J., 68, Cresson, passed away peacefully September 14, 2020 at UPMC Altoona. Born April 26, 1952, daughter of the late Francis and Rita (Stoltz) Moyer. Preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Weaver; sister, Joan Moyer; brother, John Moyer, brothers-In-Law, David Endler and Elmer Rickens. Survived by her children, Hope Benning, Duncansville; and Brian Weaver and girlfriend, Laura Uveges, Pittsburgh; grandsons, Brayden and Cameron Weaver; siblings, Rose (Pat) Boland; Mary Grace (Murray) Watts; Kathleen Moyer; Paul (Sandy) Moyer; Francis Moyer; Dona Rickens; James (Sonja) Moyer; Victor Moyer; Christine Moyer; and Ann Endler. Carla was a housekeeper at Cambria Care Center. She loved her garden, her birds, time with her residents, co-workers, family and friends. Friends and family will be received Sunday, September 20, 2020 from 4-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated, Monday, September 21, 2020 at 10 a.m., St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Due to COVID-19 restrictions visitors are asked to wear a mask and abide by social distancing guidelines. Interment St. Brigid Cemetery, Lilly at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
