Parks, Bette B. (Cypher), 70, McVeytown, passed away May 31, 2020 at home. Born December 1, 1949, Huntingdon, daughter of the late Joseph Cypher. Survived by loving husband Selwyn “Bud” Parks Jr., whom she married on November 19, 1977; mother, Elizabeth (McIntyre) Cypher; daughter, Apryl Connors, Manhattan, Montana; brother, Thomas Cypher, Saxton; sister-in-law, Joyce Snyder, Saxton. Preceded in death by brother, Edward Snyder and sister-in-law, Kay Cypher. Bette enjoyed reading, flowers, and crocheting. She enjoyed spending time and being active at the Bricktown Senior Center. Bette was most happy when spending time with family and friends. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Mount Union Presbyterian Church, Rev. Beverly Skopic, officiant. Interment at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mount Union, 15 W Shirley St, Mount Union, PA 17066; Mount Union Presbyterian Church, 2 E Shirley St, Mount Union, PA 17066; or the Bricktown Senior Center, 18 N Washington St, Mount Union, PA 17066. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
