Knepper, Arley L, 94, Three Springs, passed away December 5, 2019 at AristaCare at Woodland Park. Born January 23, 1925, Three Springs, son of the late Elmer and Nellie (Yingling) Knepper. Preceded in death by siblings, Ladema Barnett, Chalmer Knepper and Pryor Knepper. Survived by nieces and nephews, Merrill Kerlin, Hagerstown, MD; Carl Barnett and wife, Pat, Huntingdon; LaVonna Greene, Marklesburg; Nellie Jack and husband, Johnny, Blackwell OK; Elmer Barnett, Dillwyn, VA; and Glenn Barnett and wife, Connie, Everett; and many great, great-great and great-great-great nieces and nephews. Arley devoted his life to farming and livestock on the family’s 154-acre farm. Known as the “Knepper Boys,” Arley and his brother Chalmer were familiar faces at many farms and auctions, and known for their honesty and hard work for the 50 plus years they hauled livestock. Arley was also fond of his many cats. Family and friends will be received on Monday, December 9, 2019 from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday December 10, 2019 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment Center United Methodist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Center United Methodist Church or the Fairview Church, Three Springs, PA. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
