Wayne L. Delozier

Delozier, Wayne L., 74, Altoona, went home to be with the Lord Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born February 24, 1947, Altoona, son of the late Walter and Frances (Lynch) Delozier, Sr. Preceded in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Survived by his loving wife, Gloria (Culley); daughter, Rhonda (Brad) Hewitt; son, Thomas (Chastity) Delozier; grandsons, Ryen (Alex) Trexler, Levi and Garrett Delozier; great-grandson, Matthew Trexler; and brothers, Jay and Jack Delozier. Wayne was a 1966 graduate of Altoona High School. After high school Wayne served in the US Army from 1966-1969 during the Vietnam War earning the rank of Sergeant. He was a heavy truck mechanic, working for both Allegheny Truck and then PennDot Hollidaysburg retiring in 2009. Wayne enjoyed hunting, spending time with his family and working in his garage. A former member of St. Francis Xavier Church, Cresson where a funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 10 a.m., Rev. Leo Arnone celebrant. Committal St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Cresson American Legion Post 238 and other local military organizations. Friends and family will be received Monday, November 22, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson.
