Biller, Wayne C., 70, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2017, at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness. Born July 31, 1946, in Altoona, son of the late Norman and Romayne (Zerbee) Biller. Survived by wife of forty years, Faye (Schenk); son, Brian and his wife, Angela (Lewis); daughter, Janelle and her husband Justin Yon; grandchildren, Jordan, Kaden and Jared; brothers, Msgr. Harold and Gary; sister, Norma; and many nieces, nephews and friends.1964 graduate of Cresson Joint High School, a graduate of Cleveland State University, and was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. Wayne and Faye were married on Oct. 15, 1977, and enjoyed a fulfilling life. Retired in 2007 from the Ebensburg Center in the accounting department, and prior to that had worked at Pa. Mine Corp., Ebensburg. He enjoyed helping neighbors, gardening, traveling, spending time with family and friends, and his weekly golf outings with the "spud busters". Member of St. Aloysius Parish, and American Legion, both of Cresson; Sankertown V.F.W. and was treasurer of the Cresson Library. Friends received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Church, Cresson, Msgr. Harold Biller and Rev. Leo Arnone. Committal, church cemetery. Military graveside rite by Cresson American Legion, Sankertown V.F.W. and other local veteran organizations.
