Tracey J. Schmidt

Schmidt, Tracey J., 57, Portage, passed away on Nov. 25, 2017 at home. Born Aug. 15, 1960, in Altoona, daughter of William and Dorothy (Dunmyer) McMullen. Preceded in death by mother, and brother, David. Survived by her father, Cresson; loving husband, James Schmidt, whom she married on July 23, 1988; daughters: Colleen Erndl, Portage; Kayla Schmidt, Portage; and Briana Schmidt, St. Louis, Missouri;and grandchildren: Taylor Cordwell, Keshia Kline, Ashton Erndl, Parker Parks and Maleyah Hassler. Last employed as a nursing aide at Rebekah Manor, Portage. She will be missed by her faithful canine companions, Zoey and Bella. Most importantly, Tracey enjoyed her grandchildren. At Tracey's request, there will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Matthew Reese.
