Thomas D. Slattery

Slattery, Thomas D., 85, Cresson, passed away July 25, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 14, 1936, Sankertown, son of the late John and Annie (Barchen) Slattery, Sr. Preceded in death by his brothers, John Jr., Michael and Dennis Slattery. Survived by his son, Thomas D. Slattery Jr., Altoona; sister, Lenora Niles, Alexandria, VA; and brother, Robert Slattery, Cresson. Thomas was a veteran of the US Army. He could always be seen fixing and tinkering around and helping anyone he could when they needed it. Thomas will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him. A funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, July, 30, 2022 at 9:30 a.m., St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Rev. Leo Arnone, Celebrant. Military honors we be provided by the Cresson American Legion, Sankertown VFW, and other local military organizations. Inurnment St. Aloysius Church Cemetery.
