Tamia Mae Chey’anne Trice, 20, resident of Port Matilda entered into everlasting rest at Mt. Nittany Hospital on January 20, 2022. Born September 18, 2001, Altoona, daughter of Tijuna (Trice) and Allen Crosby. Survived by parents, Along with her mother and father she leaves to mourn; sisters Chanique (Bobby) Sies, Te’nea Trice and Ali’auna Crosby; grandparents Beatrice Trice, Allen and Martha Crosby; and great grandfather James Leon Jackson; Great-Great Aunt Mary Green; uncle Terrance Trice, Aunts Anata (Christopher) Trice, Iris Trice and Latoya (Akeem) Sapp, one niece and four nephews, special extended family Adele Rogers and Christi Hammond and a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Tamia was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather William Trice, fraternal grandmother Veronica R. Johnson and fraternal great-grandmother Laura Bell Crosby, maternal great-grandparents Sandra Jackson, Nathanial and Evelyn Trice, and host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Tamia is a graduate of Altoona area high school. She had been employed at Time to Succeed Day Care Center and cared for many neighborhood children in her home prior to her health failing. She loved spending time with her family, preparing meals, baking her family special treats, singing, sewing, crafts and cosmetology. She enjoyed her electronics and social media—especially face timing her family. Tamia will be remembered for her infectious smile, her outgoing personality, honesty, selflessness, huge hugs, and her unconditional love for others. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, January 29, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home. Rev. Sylvia Morris, officiant. Interment to follow at The Mount Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make memorial contributions directly to the funeral home.
