Noland Sr., Steven J., 71, Cresson, passed away December 29, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born November 29, 1950, Altoona, son of Dewey and Pearl (Mulhern) Noland, Sr. Preceded in death by his father and sister, Dawn Hodgson. Survived by his mother; loving wife, Linda (Sherry); children, Steve Noland Jr.; Melissa (Jason) Seymore; Jason Noland, Christina Noland; step-daughter, Cheri (Carl) Askins; siblings, Tom (Judy) Noland; Joy (Allen) Blair; Dewey (Dee) Noland; Mike Noland; and MaryEllen (Bob) Gailey; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Steve was U.S. Marine Corps veteran. He worked for 17 years as an engineer for Conrail. Steve was a member of the Cresson American Legion and a life member of the Sankertown VFW. He enjoyed fishing, working on small engines, his dogs, and his evenings at The Little Red School House. Most importantly he loved spending time with Isabella and Isaiah. At Steve’s request there will be no viewing or service. Friends and family are welcome to stop by the Sankertown VFW, Saturday, January 8, 2021 from 2-4 p.m. to share memories of Steve.
