Ketchessin, Stella Cecelia (Campagna), 102, entered eternal life on November 21, 2022. She was born January 19, 1920 in Lilly to the late Carlo Amerigo and Maria Grazia Corvino (Mary Grace Courvina) Campagna. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Michael Joseph Ketchessin; Grandparents, Antonio and Maria Giuseppina (Iapalucci) Corvino; Sisters and Best Friends, Margaret, Ida, Elnora, Christina, Priscilla, and Carolina; Brothers Wilbert and David; Her cousins that were like sisters to her throughout her life, Josephine, Carmella, Florina, Lucia, Lucinda, Leanilda and Patricia; and her trusted friend, Phyllis (Albarano) Martynuska. She spoke of her great love for all of them and missed them very much. Stella was the last surviving woman of a generation of women that shaped her family’s history and legacy. She is survived by her loving and devoted family; daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara Ann and Chad Pysher and Michele Jo and James Proctor; Grandsons, Chad Eric (Steven); Michael (Michelle) and Ryan (Stephanie); Great Grandchildren, Rachael, Avery, Olivia and Zachary. She is also survived by Brothers, Leonard, Carl and Brother Emil, whom she loved like a son and cherished every moment spent with him; Sisters-in-Law, Bette Rae, Linda, Joy, and Cecelia Campagna and Marian Ketchesin. Several Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Nephews, Great-Great Nieces and Nephews and Cousins. Special Nieces and Nephews, Marge Panek, Francis Risko, Jeanine and Bryan Romanowicz. whom she was a second mother and grandmother to throughout their lives. Special cousin and neighbor, Ava Ann Campagna; her dear neighbors, Danny and Judy Ehrenfeld and Family and Pamela Stoltz Lego, who gave her so much love at a precious time of her life. Her family and all who knew her are grateful for her life of great unconditional love. Her values of faith, family, tradition, and living life to the fullest through acceptance, compassion and community will always be a part of her legacy; a legacy that shines through her Children, Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and in the work of the company that bears her name, Stella. She will be deeply missed but all who knew her will always have their guiding star…their Stella. Friends and family will be received Sunday, November 27 from 2-6 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Avenue, Cresson. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, November 28 at 11 a.m., Our Lady of the Alleghenies Roman Catholic Church, Lilly by Rev. George Gulash and Rt. Rev. Msgr. Raymond Balta. Internment at St. Brigid’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Lilly. Liturgical remembrances have been arranged by the family. In lieu of additional Masses, the family requests that donations be made to any of the following charities in honor of Stella: The Carmelite Monastery of Saint Therese of Lisieux, PO Box 57, Loretto, PA 15940; The Pink Panthers of Penn Cambria, Supporting Breast Cancer Survivors, 401 Linden Avenue, Cresson, PA 16630; Free Mom Hugs, Mothers Supporting the LGBTQ Community Locally and Across the Nation, PO Box 12731, Oklahoma City, OK 73157; or Women’s Help Center, Transforming Women’s Lives Through Empowerment, Education, and Hope, 809 Napoleon Street, Johnstown PA 15901. These reflect the amazing woman that Stella was…an all-encompassing spirit with great unconditional love. Her family will be forever honored to call her Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and Friend.
