Benson, Sheila Marie (Clemens), 59, McVeytown, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 12, 2023, at home surrounded by her family. Born July 4, 1963, daughter of Terry D. and Wanda M. (Wertz) Clemens. Survived by her loving husband, William D. Benson; children, Gabrielle E. Benson and Tristan L.T. Benson and fiancé, Adam Pivovarnik; sister, Pamela Clemens and companion, Rodney Mohney; nieces and nephews, Jonathan Clemens, Elliot Clemens, Elisabeth Kelley-Foley, Jonathan Kelley, and Stephanie Renninger; and special great niece, Zillia Clemens. Preceded in death by her son, Dustin William Clemens Benson, who passed in 1988. Sheila attended the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church. She was a 1981 graduate of Mount Union Area High School and attended Juniata College. She enjoyed volunteering with her church and teaching children during Vacation Bible School. Sheila loved her animals, Jasper, Gideon and Bodwyn. She also liked traveling to the beach. Most of all she loved to spend time with her children, family and friends. Sheila will be remembered as a great daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt and friend. Family and friends will be received on Tuesday May 16, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Wednesday May 17, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant.
