Sharon V. Taylor

Taylor, Sharon V., 74, Mount Union, passed away August 8, 2019 at her home. Born February 10, 1945, in Kistler, daughter of the late Clarence and Huldah (Hicks) McCreary. Preceded in death by her siblings, Ronald and Harvey McCreary, Leora Mills, Naomi Gibbons, and Dennis McCreary. Survived by her children, Stephen Taylor and wife, Linda, of Mount Union, PA; Lori Rock and husband, Jeffrey, of Laporte, PA; Wendy Snyder and companion, Mike Horton, of Broad Top, PA; granddaughters, Rachel Kowalski, of Hanover, PA; Mindy Wright and husband, Edward, of Mount Union, PA; Emily Querubin and husband, Peter, of Frisco, TX; two great-grandsons, Lincoln Milam and Grant Querubin; as well as her sisters, Fae Steel, of Mount Union, PA; Linda Sullivan, of Hamburg, NY; and sister-in-law, Irene McCreary. Sharon had retired after 35 years at O.C. Fiberglass/AGY and was a member of the Mount Union Wesleyan Church. She enjoyed bowling, traveling, playing cards and bingo, but, most importantly, spending time with her loved ones. Friends and family will be received Saturday, August 10 from 9 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m., Pastor Dan Metz, officiant, Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 East Shirley St., Mount Union. Interment is to be held at Mount Union Cemetery. The family would like to extend their gratitude to everyone who took the time to send Sharon cards and flowers.
