Sally J. Hockenberry, 71, Mount Union, passed away at home on May 8, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born August 1, 1954, daughter of the late Clarence Fleming and Elizabeth (Himes) Booher. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by great-grandson, Deklan Snook. Sally is survived by her husband David Carl Hockenberry. In addition to her husband Mrs. Hockenberry is survived by her sons, Jeremiah (Krissy) Hockenberry, Zebadiah (Jessica) Hockenberry; daughters, Carrie Hockenberry, Terri (Ron) Heidel; grandsons, Dalton (Kyra) Snook, Garrett (Anna) Hockenberry, Levi Hockenberry, Dawson (Samantha) Hockenberry, Zane Hockenberry, Evan Hockenberry; granddaughters, Haley (J’Dyn) Snook, Aislyn Hockenberry; great-grandsons, Kai, Derek, Malikye & Mathias; great-granddaughters, Enzlee, Vivianna, GraceLynn, Lainey & Isabela. and many nieces, nephews, brothers, sisters, and cousins. Sally was a devoted and family-oriented woman whose greatest joy in life was spending time with her children and grandchildren. She rarely missed a game or match and could always be found cheering proudly from the sidelines while watching her grandchildren participate in sports. Her love and support meant the world to those she cherished. She enjoyed gathering with family, sharing meals, telling stories, and making memories with the people she loved most. Her kind heart, caring nature, and unwavering devotion to her family will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Friends and Family will be received Sunday, May 10, 2026, from 12:00 – 2:00 in the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home with a service at 2:00. Pastor Greg Harven and Pastor Joey Fleck, officiants.
