Wilson, Ruth E. (Lowry), 75, Orbisonia, passed away Sunday July 21, 2024, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born August 18, 1948, Robertsdale, daughter of the late Albert Levi and Evelyn Jane Lowry. Survived by her husband, Guy Clyde Wilson Jr.; children, Chrystal Spayd and husband, Chris; Brian Benson and wife, Brandy; Jessica Benson; and Johnny Benson; 6 grandchildren, Derek, Sylver, Brayden, Briley, Skyler and Dekenon; and a sister, Judy Willis. Preceded in death by siblings, Helen, Elanore, and Glenny. Ruth was a graduate of Saxton High School. Ruth attended the Assembly of God Church in Mount Union. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. Ruth liked baseball and football and loved rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends—especially her grandchildren.
