Rose A. Starr, 64, Blairs Mills, passed away Monday, June 1, 2026 at home surrounded by her family. Born December 8, 1961, Huntingdon, daughter of the late John and Nellie (Fortney) Seilhamer. Preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Seilhamer Sr. Survived by her loving husband, William Starr Sr.; children, Stephanie Starr and William Starr Jr.; two grandchildren, Dylan L. Dittsworth and Katherine Maey Guilfoy; siblings, John Seilhamer, Joel Seilhamer Sr., and Nancy Ross; and numerous nieces and nephews. Rose loved to sit on her front porch, bird watching, planting flower seeds, crocheting, collecting salt and pepper shakers, doing puzzles and listening and dancing to music. Most importantly, she cherished spending time with her family and friends. At Rose’s request, a private viewing and committal will be held for the family, Pastor Terry Farr officiant. Burial at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
