Ronald A. Cornelius, Sr.

Cornelius, Sr., Ronald A., 78, Burnham, formerly of Mount Union, passed away October 21, 2019 at William Penn Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lewistown. Born August 31, 1941, Mount Union, son of the late Arthur and Jane (Flasher) Cornelius. Preceded in death by his son, Ronald Jr. and a sister, Arla Sue Arter. Survived by his daughters, Candace Cornelius, SC; Rhonda Cornelius, LA; and Crystal Jenkins, MI; sisters, Mary Ruth Shank, McVeytown; Kathryn Strait and husband, Lester, Huntingdon; and Melody Parsons and husband, Charles, Mount Union; numerous grandchildren. Ron worked a majority of his life in sales, working first for Western Auto, Mount Union and most recently with the Juniata Memorial Park, Lewistown. He enjoyed spending time with his beloved dog, Max and cat, Lucy. At Ron’s request there will be no viewing. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
