Olsick, Robert A. “Harvey”, 69, Cresson, passed away unexpectedly October 1, 2018 at UPMC Altoona after suffering from a second stroke. Born January 21, 1949, Cresson, son of the late Stanley J. and Gertrude E. (Weymer) Olsick. Survived by daughter, Sherry Clawson (Jason Lundberg); sons, Robert J. and Ricky A. Olsick; grandchildren, Ronni and Ethan Clawson; Austin and Owen Olsick; siblings, Elizabeth Cully Stevens (Ron), Mary Kay Meese, Shirley Olsick, Theresa Dunmyer (Dave), Linda Smick (Andy), Stanley Olsick, Jr. (Lee Ann), and John Olsick; numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, aunts and uncles; special family friend, Pat Kent; and Bob’s faithful companion, his dog, Champ. Bob was proud of serving in the US Army Reserves and his 33+ years working for Conrail. He enjoyed spending time in his yard with Champ and watching baseball and Westerns. Bob was an avid fan of Elvis Presley. He was a gifted bowler and pool player. Friends and family will be received Thursday, Oct. 4 from 6-8 p.m. and Friday, Oct. 5 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a vigil will be held. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, Oct. 6, 9 a.m., St. Francis Xavier Church, Fr. Matthew Reese, celebrant. Burial St. Francis Xavier Church Cemetery. Military honors will be conducted by the Cresson & Loretto American Legions, Sankertown VFW, and other local veteran organizations.
