Robert J. Karikas, 73, of Mount Union, passed away September 2, 2026, in his home. Born January 17, 1953, son of the late George and Diane (Showalter) Karikas. Robert is survived by his loving partner of 43 years, Jimmy Dobbs as well as his dear friend Debbie Arnold. Robert worked as a private chef at Bonney Forge, a role that perfectly reflected his love of cooking and bringing people together through good food. He found great joy in preparing meals for those he loved and sharing his talents with others. He was outgoing, kindhearted, and always willing to make others smile. Above all, he cherished the happiness of his husband, Jimmy, and took great pride in making sure he was loved and cared for. He was also devoted to his beloved fur babies, who held a very special place in his heart. His compassionate spirit, generous nature, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Family and friends will be received Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 4:00 – 7:00 in the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home with a service at 7:00 P.M. Pastor Tate Pollock, officiant.
