Drobnoek, Robert, 63, Huntingdon, passed away Saturday, September 23, 2023. Born January 18, 1960, Altoona, son of the late Michael F. and Virginia M. (McConnell) Drobnoek. Survived by his son, Robert M. Drobnoek wife, Emily, Claysburg and by his daughter, Heather E. Kozlov, Altoona; six grandchildren, Klaus, Alexander, Miley, Madisyn, Hannah, and Isaiah.  Also surviving are two brothers, Michael Drobnoek, Duncansville; Donald Drobnoek, Altoona, and two sisters, Caroline Wagner, Texas, and Nancy Demco, Georgia. Robert was preceded in death by and infant grandchild. He was a 1978 graduate of Williamsburg High School, attended the Greater Altoona Career and Technology Center for auto repair, served in The United States Marine Corps, and was employed as a machinist at Bonney Forge in Mount Union from 1986 until 2019 where he was also the local Union vice president of United Steel Workers Union. He was a member of the American Legion #520 Alexandria and enjoyed Nascar races, camping, fishing, Pittsburgh Steelers, watching Motor Trend TV, his cats, and especially spending time with his grandchildren. A celebration of life memorial service with military honors will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the William P. Spyker Post 520 located at 301 6th Street, Alexandria, PA. 16611. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the Heath Anderson Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
