Baker, Sr., Robert M., 80, Hudson, FL, formerly of Cresson passed away on March 25, 2020 at Gulfside Hospice at Heather Hill, New Port Ritchey, FL. Born April 26, 1939, Altoona, PA, son of the late Leo A. and Grace M (Noel) Baker. Proceeded in death by his loving wife Judith L. (Gettings), with whom he shared 57 years of marriage; brothers, Paul, John, Joseph, Leo, Melvin and Eugene Baker; sisters, Rita (Sr. DiRicci) Baker, Margaret Janssen, Mary Plazek, Janet Baker and Grace Grover. Survived by children, Robert (Cheri) Ijamsville, MD; Shelley Baker, Hudson, FL and Lori (Sean) Fagan, Morgantown, WV. He enjoyed spending time with his six grandchildren and two great grandchildren: Trey (Courtney) Baker; Samantha Baker; Austin Harrell; Kirbea Harrell; Jared Fagan; Brady Fagan; Haydn Marley and Declan Baker. Robert is also survived by one sister, Dorothy (Sr. Gracetter) Baker. Bob was an avid sports fan and loved to watch his children’s and grandchildren’s sporting activities. He especially loved supporting both Notre Dame Football and Bishop Carroll Athletics. Due to the recent COVID-19 recommendations and restrictions, the family will have a private graveside service. A memorial Mass and celebration of life will be held at a later date. Interment, St. Aloysius Church Cemetery.
