Ricky E.
Rosenberry
August 18, 1960 – April 3, 2026
Ricky Evans Rosenberry, 65, of McVeytown, passed away on April 3, 2026, with his loving family by his side. Born August 18, 1960, in Maddensville, son of the late Merle E. and Carolyn “Kay” (Anderson) Rosenberry. Mr. Rosenberry was the beloved husband of Cathy (Meshyock) Rosenberry, with whom he shared 34 wonderful years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and dedication to one another. In addition to his wife, he is survived by son, Andrew; step-daughters, Lori Slaughter, Sherry (Joe) Huffnagle, Chasity (Ted) Boozel, Charisa Allen; grandchildren, Zach, Zeth, Brian, Abby, Jake, Josh, Emily, Kohl, Garrick, Garryn, Garrity; great-grandchildren, Alaya, Axtyn, Zane, Wyatt; sister, Tonya ( Rick) Doyle; nephews, Derrick Doyle, Levi Doyle; and special Amish friends from J.J. Roofing , Jonathan, James, Ben, Joe, Rudy, and their families. Mr. Rosenberry dedicated more than 40 years of his career as a powerline man, working for L. E. Meyers, and he took great pride in helping keep the power on for communities. Ricky was a true motorhead who had a lifelong passion for cars. One of his proudest accomplishments was building a Chevrolet Camaro from the ground up. He loved attending car shows, working on vehicles, and talking shop with fellow car enthusiasts. When he wasn’t in the garage, he enjoyed shooting pool, woodworking, and taking on creative projects of all kinds. A true jack of all trades, he had a talent for building and crafting nearly anything. He created model cars, made candles, and even built a special train room where he could enjoy his love of model trains. He was also known for his kindness and willingness to help others. Ricky often drove for local Amish families and lent a hand in helping them with construction and building projects, something he took great pride in. Above all, he loved spending time with his family. Those moments meant the most to him, and his presence, humor, and generous spirit will be deeply missed. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, "Honored Provider of Veterans Funeral Care™." Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com
