Richard L. Brumbaugh

Brumbaugh, Richard “Dick” Lee, 75, Mapleton, died March 31, 2022 due to COVID-19 complications. Born June 10, 1946, Huntingdon, son of the late John and Alberta (McNerlin) Brumbaugh of Cassville. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Linda, who passed in February 2022. Also preceded by brother, John Brumbaugh, Mapleton. Survived by children, Wayne Brumbaugh and wife, Carole, Midlothian VA; Lisa (Brumbaugh) Horner and husband, Les, State College; 3 grandchildren, Richard Brumbaugh, Hampton VA; Hannah Brumbaugh, Midlothian VA; and Rebekah Horner, State College; brother, William O. Brumbaugh, Cassville; sister, Betty Baker, Cassville; Judy Hooper, McVeytown. For many years, Richard was an active member of the Mapleton Volunteer Fire Company, the Trough Creek Valley Fire Company and had been a past President of the Huntingdon County Volunteer Fireman’s Association. He was also a member of the Pennsylvania Central District Firemen’s Association. Richard had served many terms as a Fire Chief as well as President of the respective organizations. Richard retired from U.S. Silica in Mapleton Depot. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Mapleton Grace United Methodist Church, 620 Main Street Mapleton Depot PA  17052.
