Kyler, Patrick Allen, 76, Newton Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday August 30, 2023, surrounded by his family at UPMC Shadyside, Pittsburgh. Born January 4, 1947, Huntingdon, son of the late Buddy B. and Mary J. (Miles) Kyler. Survived by his loving wife, Patricia Mae (Laird) Kyler; children, Jodi Atherton and husband, Kyle; Patrick W. Kyler and wife, Sue; and Matthew A. Kyler and wife, Christina; 10 grandchildren, Rachel Nordby, Emily Atherton, Andrew Atherton, Jonathan Atherton, Nicole Kyler, Alison Booher, Eric Kyler, Ashlyn Kyler, Owen Kyler and Brooklyn Kyler; 11 great grandchildren; and sister, Kathy Keilhofer. Preceded in death by a sister, Sharon Buckley. Patrick attended the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church. Patrick was a 1965 graduate of Captain Jack High School. After school he attended the Harrisburg Area Technical College and studied computers. Patrick retired from U.S. Silica after 46 years of service. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and feeding his birds. Most of all Patrick loved to spend time with his family—he was especially proud of his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He loved family gatherings, picnics and events. Friends and family will be received on Sunday September 3, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, Pastor David Miller, officiant.
