Trice, Nathaniel L., 81, Mount Union, went home to be with the Lord, November 28, 2023, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon Hospital. Born March 28, 1942, Huntingdon, son of the late Nathaniel H. and Evelyn ‘Sue’ (Frye) Trice. Survived by loving wife, Judith A. Trice, Mount Union; sons, Nathaniel L. Jr. and wife, Theraesa Trice, Largo, FL.; Douglas E Lester, Orbisonia; Charles M. Lewis, Alexandria, VA daughters, Dorothy J. Mason and husband, Peter , Charlotte, NC; Lorinda L. Trice, Charlotte, NC; sisters, Trudy Ireland, Flint, Michigan; Teresa Stevenson, Flint, Michigan; Lorraine Martin and husband, Charles, Gastonia, NC; Linda Matthews and husband, Jerry, Burton Michigan; Frances Vaughn and husband, Kurt, Huntingdon; 10 grandchildren, Kesia, Kayla, Kendrick, Jamyle, Jordan, Taneika, , Naim, Nijalee, and Daysha, Nasir; 22 great grandchildren, Derek, Malek, Deshawn, Marsena, Mariyah, Jossemar, Matthew, Keyona, Tayvion, Janiyah, Aliayah, Jolene, Kimbella, Kendrick Jr., Jaiden, Jaylee, Evelyn, Kailani, Jordan Jr., Jace, Jodeci, and T’Kai. Nathaniel is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, and brother and sister-in-laws. Preceded in death by infant daughter, Gwendolyn M. Trice; brother, William F. Trice; grandson, Nathaniel Riness. Mr. Trice served in the United States Marine Corps and retired from SCI Huntingdon where he served as a Labor Foreman. Mr. Trice was a member of the Grace Community Church of Mount Union, Mount Union VFW Blue Mountain Memorial Post 5754, and the Mount Union American Legion. He was the former head coach of the Bengals pee wee championship football team throughout the 1970’s and 1980’s and was a fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Family and Friends will be received Saturday December 2, 2023, 10 a.m. until time of service at 12 p.m., at the funeral home, Pastor Danny Neff, and Pastor Sylvia Morris officiants. Interment and military honors to follow at the Mount Union Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
