Nancy L. Yagodich

Yagodich, Nancy L., 56, Altoona, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at her home. Born July 3, 1965, Johnstown, daughter of Joseph J. and Nancy J. (Locher) Yagodich. Preceded in death by her father and infant brother, Michael Yagodich. Survived by her brother, Matt Yagodich and wife, Michele; niece, Kenzie; nephew, Louie; Dona Bardell, who was a mother figure to her; and all her friends, who were her extended family. Nancy was a special education teacher for the Altoona Area School District. She was a strong advocate for all her students. Nancy always loved when her former students would reach out to her and let her know how she impacted their lives. After her retirement, she was still an educator at heart, tutoring any child that needed her help. Nancy also enjoyed reading and traveling. A private memorial service will be held at Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 233 Keystone Ave., Cresson, Rev. Jaime Olson, officiant. A private inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Altoona Area Public Library, 1600 5th Ave., Altoona, PA 16602 in memory of Nancy.
