Nancy A. (Fisher) Mellott, 78 of Huntingdon, went to be with her heavenly savior Thursday August 20, 2026. Born July 8, 1948, in Baltimore, daughter of the late Edward and Naomi (Utley) Fisher. In addition to her parents, she is also predeceased by brother Denny (Fuzz) Fisher. Nancy is survived by her loving husband Rodney J. Mellott whom she was united in marriage for 39 wonderful years. In addition to her husband Nancy is survived by daughter, Kimberly (Dan) Werry; sons, Gary (Carol) Harrelson, Kevin Harrelson, Edward (Andrea) Waters; stepson Jimmy Mellott; stepdaughter Judy (Steve) Troyer; brothers, Harry “Ed” Fisher, Larry Fisher, and Terry Fisher. She was the proud grandmother to Ashley, Justin, Holly, Jacob, Tiffany, Travis, Trent, Kiran, Rebecca and Chloe and great-grandmother of Joshua, Takoda, James, Jaxon, Mason, Asher, and one on the way. Nancy was a proud 1966 graduate of Huntingdon Area High School. She spent 25 years dedicated to her job at the PA Game Commissioners where she retired from in 2008. Nancy was also an active member in the FOE Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed her time outdoors and often spent lots of time fishing and canoeing. If Nancy was not out on the river, her and Rodney could be found travelling and exploring new places with her parents before their passing. Above all else Nancy was a dedicated mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother and spent all of her love on those who loved her. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting and was very proud of her work making quilts for every single child and grandchild. Nancy was a light in the world for many that showed inspiration, kindness, lovingness and joy. She will be missed dearly by her family and all that knew her. Family and friends will be received Monday August 24, 2026, at the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 with a service at 4:00. Joseph Barrett, officiant.
