Laney, Nancy Lou (Skidmore), 72, Cresson, passed away October 16, 2021 at UPMC Altoona. Born October 14, 1949, Altoona, daughter of the late Richard B. and Alverta M. (Seitz) Skidmore. Preceded in death by her step-daughter, Shari Laney; and step-grandson, Adam Fry. Survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Ronald Laney; children, Julie (Andy) Sprang, Cindy (Mike) Kline, and Rick (fiancé Lacey) Laney; step-children, Debi (David) Billings and Wendy (Al) Bennett; grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Makenzie and Sahara Kline; Christian and Daniel Sprang; step-grandchildren, Kristianna Fry and Tabitha Moore; siblings, Jean Borlie and Jerry Skidmore; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Nancy was a member of the Cresson Christian & Missionary Alliance Church. She enjoyed taking pictures, reading, and doing jigsaw puzzles. Most importantly, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
