Pagano, Mona J. (Knepp), 85, York and formerly of Mount Union, passed away Saturday March 1, 2025, at Kingston Court Nursing and Rehabilitation, York. Born August 17, 1939, Lewistown, daughter of the late Jon and Freda (Lynn) Knepp. Survived by her son, Peter J. Pagano and wife, Amy; grandson, Jeremy V. Pagano and wife, Maura; and 1 great granddaughter, Isabella Pagano. Preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy Knepp. Mrs. Pagano graduated from Captain Jack High School in Mount Union. She was of the Methodist faith. Mrs. Pagano retired from the Mount Union Area School District after 30 years of service as a secretary. She enjoyed camping and being outdoors. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends, especially her grandson and son. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday March 5, 2025, at 12 noon, at Pine Glen Cemetery, McVeytown, Joseph Barrett, officiant.
