Rutter, McClelland “Kelly” Leroy, 87, Newton Hamilton, passed away March 14, 2021 at Embassy of Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born March 7, 1934, Huntingdon, son of the late George and Margaret (Lyter) Rutter. Survived by loving wife, Mabel (Harshbarger) Rutter; children, David Rutter and wife Sherri, McVeytown; Tammy Grissinger and companion Roy, Clearfield; Randy Rutter and wife Melissa, McVeytown; stepchildren, William Martin, CA, and Wayne Martin, Mount Union; brother, Jack Rutter, NY; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brothers, Elmer Rutter, Clarence Rutter, Robert Rutter, and infant brother Tommy Rutter; sisters, Mary Rosenberry, Goldie Graziano, Ann Shingler, Betty Kerndale, and Violet Hughes. One of 11 children, McClelland served his country honorably in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked at Robin Footwear and was retired from U.S. Sports. In his free time, McClelland enjoyed tinkering in his garage and hunting. Most importantly, he cherished his time with loved ones. Friends and family will be received at Heath-Anderson Funeral Home on Friday, March 19, 2021 from 11:00 – 11:30 AM, service to follow, Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant. Interment to follow at Mount Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Newton Wayne Fire Company at 127 Kinsloe Avenue, Newton Hamilton, PA 17075. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
