Wilkinson, Mary T. “Tammy”, 63, Cresson, died October 6, 2022 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born April 13, 1959, Altoona, daughter of the late Willard A. and Colleen A. (Cassidy) Wilkinson. Survived by her brother, Bill (Kimberly) Wilkinson; sisters, Lisa Martyak, Robin Burns and Chastity (Brian) McCleary; nieces and nephews, Brandon Martyak; Billy and Maria Burns; Miranda, Will and Melanie Wilkinson; and Aubrey and Aryana McCleary, who held a special place in her heart. Tammy was a 1977 graduate of Penn Cambria High School and a 1981 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She spent time in Texas and Florida. Upon her return home, she worked as a social worker for Cambria County for 26 years, retiring in 2020. She was a member of St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin. Tammy was a kidney transplant recipient in 2019 after spending three years on dialysis. Although limited by her health in recent years, Tammy took pleasure in so much of what life had to offer. She enjoyed music, crafts, shopping and buying gifts for everyone. She had fond memories of the time spent traveling with the girls. Passionate about so many things in her life, Tammy enjoyed each and every day as well as those that shared time with her. Friends and family will be received Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 4-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, where a vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 10 a.m., St. Demetrius Catholic Church, Gallitzin, Rev. Albert Ledoux celebrant. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Demetrius Catholic Church, 811 Church St., Gallitzin, PA 16641.
