Pollock, Mary Margaret, 99, Hanover, passed away quietly on February 14, 2021 at SpiriTrust Lutheran Retirement Village, Hanover. Born May 7, 1921, Huntingdon, daughter of the late Joseph Anthony and Mary Anna (Sabol) Nemetz. One of seven girls, Mary was raised on her parents’ farm in Hill Valley. She worked for Westinghouse Brake in Pittsburgh during World War II and married Ralph Woodrow Pollock, when he returned from the war and resided in Mount Union until 2014. She is survived by sons, Donald Pollock and wife, Nancy; and Dennis and wife, Helen; six grandchildren, Jennifer and her husband, Bryan; Brian and his wife, Crystal; David and his wife, Linda; Kimberly; Richard; and Denise and her husband, Bill; 12 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandsons. Mary spent her free time bowling with her friends, gardening, and taking care of her beloved husband. A private service for immediate family will be held at Heath-Anderson Funeral Home on Sunday, February 21, 2021. Fr. Joseph Fleming, celebrant. Interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at 225 N.
