Mary Ann Norris, 83, of Alexandria, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, at the Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone. Born December 24, 1942, daughter of the late Walter and Mary (Myers) Houck. She is also preceded in death by brother, Donald Houck; and sister, Carol Houck. Mary is survived by her husband, Cloyd Norris; son, Timothy Norris; daughter, Katie Norris; brother, Walter (Joyce) Houck, Jr; sisters-in-law, Lottie Burdick, Jane Houck; nephews, Chris Burk, Brian Burdick, and Stephen Burdick. Mary was a faithful member of 12th Street United Methodist Church; she served as a Sunday school teacher and generously gave of her time by helping clean and care for the church she loved. She was most recently a parishioner of the Alexandria Presbyterian Church and was also a proud member of the Juniata Valley Lions Club. Above all, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, and caring sister who treasured time with her family. She enjoyed traveling and looked forward to the many bus trips. A Memorial service will be held Saturday, August 15, 2026 at 11:00 at Alexandria Presbyterian Church, 311 Shelton Avenue, Alexandria.
