Lenz, Marvin C., 81, Cresson, died May 27, 2017, at UPMC Altoona. Born Sept. 19, 1935, in Gallitzin, son of the late Walter and Mary Kathryn (Lawn) Lenz. Preceded in death by infant son, Douglas; sisters, Lorraine and Helen; and brother, Ed. Survived by wife of 60 years, Florence (Williams); son Kevin and wife Cecelia, Mahaffey; grandsons: Robert and wife Jennie, Pittsburgh; and Douglas and wife Kristie, New Wilmington; great-grandchildren, Reagan, Noah and Kinley; brothers: Kenny and wife Betsy, Gallitzin R.D.; and Larry, Hollidaysburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Self-employed auto mechanic, and had previously worked at Don Hughes Ford, Cresson, and Ron Davidson Chevrolet, Ebensburg. Member of St. Aloysius Parish, Cresson, and Sankertown V.F.W. Friends received from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Leo Arnone.
