Martin L. Shank Jr., 69, of 2 W. Pennsylvania Ave., Mount Union, died Monday, Aug. 4, 2020, at his home. Born Dec. 22, 1950, in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Martin L. Shank Sr. and Elizabeth “Lee” (Pagana) Shank. He is survived by one son, Patrick Shank. Also surviving are a brother, Carl Shank and wife, Deb, Alexandria, and a sister, Marsha Whitsel and husband, Ben, Shirleysburg. He was preceded in death by a son, Derek, and siblings, Lois Shafer, Richard Shank and Ted Shank. Mr. Shank attended the Presbyterian Church, Mount Union. He graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1968 and Point Park (College) University, Pittsburgh, in 1972. He had worked most of his life in the Pittsburgh and McKeesport areas and returned to Mount Union in 2016. A memorial service will be held at noon Friday, Aug. 14, at the Presbyterian Church, Mount Union, with the Rev. Beverly Skopic officiating. There will be no public viewing or visitation.
