Isett, Marilyn “Sis” E., 87, James Creek, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at home surrounded by her family. Born December 18, 1934, Allegheny County, daughter of the late Charles W. and Cleora M. (Graham) Brindle. Preceded in death by her husband, Harold R. “Dick” Isett; and son, Ronald Isett. Survived by children, Richard K. Isett and wife, Wanda; Timothy Edward Isett; and daughter-in-law, Donna Isett; 7 grandchildren, Chad, Katie, William, Michael, Jacob, Sara and Quinton; 13 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty Root. Marilyn was a 1952 graduate of Pitcairn High School. She worked as a rural mail carrier and homemaker. Marilyn was a longtime Lioness with the Woodcock Valley Lions where she received Melvin Jones Award. She was also served as an EMT with the Marklesburg Volunteer Fire Company. Marilyn was on the Old Stone Church Cemetery Association for 50 years. Marilyn had been under the care of Family Hospice, and she was eternally grateful to her caregivers, Nurse Annie and Helpmate Julie. A celebration of life will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Lutheran Church, 115 E. Penn St. Huntingdon, PA 16652. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
