Margaret C. Heaster

Heaster, Margaret C. (Winnick), 88, Mount Union, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2022, at UPMC Altoona. Born May 10, 1934, Shade Gap, daughter of the late George and Ruth (Roddy) Winnick. Survived by children, Cindy Heaster, York; Neil Heaster, Huntingdon; and Timothy Heaster, Reno NV; 6 grandchildren, Nicholas Mills, Catherine Nace, Tiffany Heaster-Ford, Cody Heaster, Trevon Heaster and Preston Fisher; and 4 great grandchildren, Braylon, Makiya, Ellie and Isaiah. Margaret was a 1952 graduate of Mount Union High School. She retired from the Mount Union High School Cafeteria after 24 years of service—2 of those years as cafeteria manager. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mount Union and its Unity Class. Margaret was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter 280. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. A celebration of life with a luncheon to follow will be held on Saturday May 28, 2022, at 2 p.m. at the Mount Union First United Methodist Church, 15 W Shirley St, Mt Union, PA 17066.
